The launching point is on the beach area just above the bridge. The 50p per canoe fee payable to the post office has been scraped due to a really nice Riverside restaurant taking over the old shop, which is definitely worth a visit! Charlie and Jane are really nice people and create a very warm friendly atmosphere. The food’s good to, which is a bonus! Nice outdoor area.
