Canoeing, Canoe hire and Kayak rental is provided by Left Bank Canoe Hire, situated on the River Wye in Hereford city centre (Saxon capital of West Mercia). This is an ideal location for both canoe hire and canoe trips, we also provide river guides for canoeing groups that would like training or instructors to manage their canoe experience

Based in the black and white house which was the birth place of Nell Gwynn, from which the rags-to-royalty story of Cinderella was based upon. This is a perfect venue for your time with us and for sightseeing in the local area. We are only meters away from Hereford Cathedral which is home to the Mappa Mundi (European term for map of the world) which dates back to the 13th century and the chained librarie

We provide all canoe equipment, canoe hire and instruction or river guilds required to make your adventure an experience to remember. We cater for any kind of group from corporate to stag and hen as well as families and schools.

Along each of these sections of the River Wye are a number of campsites and pubs for groups that would like to either stop for a bite to eat, or camp out for the night. Once you reach your final destination we provide transport which will take you back to the start.

We use ‘Old Town 158’ canoes which are superb for mixed abilities and experience; they are also large enough to carry all the equipment you will require.
